The Renovation itself.

The renovation itself involves a number of processes all designed to bring out the very best in your leather.       I am not going to give away too many secrets in this space but will at least say the required materials are based upon those used during the finishing stages of the tanning process when the car was manufactured.     This is why we call ourselves leather refinishers although the term 'connollising' is also often used to described the job.     The word connollising is derived from a company called Connolly Brothers who supplied and used a cellulose application for leather.       Although not commenting on this product in particular, we have found that in general most cellulose applications somewhat lack the attribute of durability.    We use a water-based product as used by all tanneries nowadays and although the process of application is more time consuming, the results are excellent.  Whether the seats look brand new or not depends on the condition of the leather in the first place, but we are confident you will be impressed with the finish.    It should be noted that ideally the car should not be used until the day after the work has been done.
